Vintage Camper at Circle M Market Farm
Get out in nature but still enjoy the quirky indulgence of a camper. Fall asleep listening to vinyl records in the vintage 1960s Holiday Trav'ler, and wake up to roosters crowing. Pick up breakfast with coffee and tea in the morning, and enjoy it on your private deck, picnic table or the farmhouse porch. The Vintage, at the edge of a 200-acre prairie, is your bedroom under the stars, quiet and peaceful. Enjoy your own campfire and let us know if you want s'more fixins delivered. This Mid-Century Modern travel trailer is all-original to 1968, and decorated with vintage Pendleton blankets and a classic awning. Parked next to a 200-acre prairie, our Glamper is parked near the farmhouse, and you'll share in the life of the homestead with cats, dogs, ducks, goats, sheep, steers, hogs and a goose. Use the lawn games, play in the tractor-tire sandbox, borrow some books/magazines, walk/ bike into town, picnic at the tables scattered around the farm, enjoy the flower gardens, swing on swings, and snuggle in a hammock. Your fridge is stocked with local beer, and you'll enjoy a farm basket breakfast in the morning and s'more by the campfire each night. Expect to see stars and hear owls. The Glamper is all yours, and so is a private deck. No bathroom or water in the camper, so you'll share the house bathroom. Use the outdoor shower and sink, or the clawfoot tub and double shower in the house. There are lots of picnic tables around the farm, lawn games and a campfire to share. Reserve the Barn Dry Sauna for an hour. We're a working farm, and we offer a farm tour when you arrive. You will pick up a farm basket breakfast with coffee or tea in the morning, then plan your own adventure on the farm, in the neighborhood, at one of our nearby state parks, or on the lake or river. You can take a wool craft class here on the farm, or we'll help you find shops, meals, classes, experiences, and restaurants you'll love. We've got maps, guidebooks, and great ideas. We're close to New Glarus Brewery, Mount Horeb tourist shops, Monroe cheese outlets, Darlington ATV rental and stock car racing, and Mineral Point artist galleries. All this and great biking trails are within a half hour drive. We are 40 minutes from House on the Rock and Taliesen, 45 minutes from Madison, an hour from Dubuque, 15 minutes from Yellowstone Lake State Park and within walking distance of the Pecatonica River and the DNR-rated trout stream Gordon Creek. Five minutes walk to the public pool, library and several great bars that often have local live music. Within a 15-minute drive, there is excellent fishing, hiking, tubing, kayaking, boating, bird watching and a gun range. There is a trout stream on the property and a river within 5 minute's walk. Bring comfy shoes for hiking, bikes for road or trail rides and a cooler to buy local cheese and meat! No air conditioning in the Glamper, but the nights are cool here. There is an electric heater and electric fans. There is no bathroom or running water in the camper, but you will use the nearby house bathroom. If you think roosters crowing, sheep baaing or owls hooting will keep you up, bring ear plugs.
