Right around the corner from the Jewel Lake neighborhood center with many dining options and a large grocery store. Only 3 miles from Alaska's largest indoor shopping mall. Air mattress available for extra guests. Come enjoy the large south facing deck with plenty of seating and a modern BBQ to bask in the summer sun. Indoors is setup perfectly for large groups with privacy for all. There is a cozy real wood fireplace and woodstove for those chilly nights. Want to have a relaxing night? Downstairs has a theater setup with a fantastic surround sound system and lots of toys and games for kids. The home has continuous ventilation that moves indoor air out and brings in fresh air from outside. We also have a true HEPA air purifier running at all times. In between longer stays, we sanitize the entire space with the help of an ozone treatment. You will have access to the entire indoor and outdoor space. Once you are checked in we will be as hands-on or hands-off as you wish. We would love to offer any must-sees, dining recommendations, or anything else you need help with. This is a pretty quiet neighborhood with amazing walks a short distance from the home. The Jewel Lake Neighborhood town center is just around the block with many options for groceries, entertainment, and dining. There are a lot of dining options within a short walk including our favorite sushi spot in town (Ronnie's Sushi). If you want a bit of a longer walk there is Kincaid Grill about 1.5 miles away and is a fine dining restaurant with some of the best seafood in Anchorage. We are about 1 mile from the Campbell Creek trail system and about 2.5 miles away from Kincaid Park which is the largest trail system in Alaska. It has many miles of single track mountain biking trails and a paved trail that follows the coast all the way downtown. There is lots of parking right out front in the large driveway. The home also sits next to a cul de sac which gives you lots of extra street parking. We are also a small walk from bus routes.
