Enjoy easy walking access to lake, parks, woods trails, the bike path + a private neighborhood beach, just 15 minutes from downtown Burlington or Winooski. There's easy off-street parking, fast wifi and a big grassy yard for dogs. (We ‭❤ pets!) Coffeemaker, breakfast nook, locked garage for your gear. The space From the driveway you take a well-lit brick walkway to the private entrance. Up a few steps inside the light-filled foyer, an intricately-carved Malaysian bench accommodates you as you slip your outdoor gear onto thoughtfully placed hooks. In the main room, the focal point is the luxurious pillow-topped king-sized bed. Dark chocolate-colored walls radiate warmth and coziness. A long chest of drawers waits to be filled with clothes and a matching desk welcomes your computer and gadgets with a stock of board games and other essentials in the drawers. A 43-inch wall-mount television swivels so viewers can watch from the king bed, daybed, or breakfast nook. The Chocolate Room has A/C and extra heat you control, plus windows on three sides. The bikepath is only yards away. Trails and beach are within easy walking distance, and the breathtaking Colchester Causeway (and summer bike ferry) is just one easy flat mile ride. Outside the 80 inch west window you can glimpse the lake through the trees and even watch kitesurfers or skaters if the weather is right. The spacious private bathroom features a shower stall and a standalone tub with jacuzzi features. A patio offers a peaceful place to have breakfast or a cocktail, while garage access lets you safely store your bike or sports equipment. A remote-controlled electric-powered fireplace lets you control the temperature and enjoy the illusion of dancing flames. (Note: the heater function is needed in the winter and does emit a soft white noise sound.) A recent upgrade has replaced carpeting with luxury vinyl tile. A coffeemaker, microwave and mini-fridge help round out the comforts of home. For those who find peace in motion, the bike path and Airport Park are only yards away. Wander to the private neighborhood beach or take the easy, flat mile ride to the breathtaking Colchester Causeway.
