Coral Gardens White House Villa

White House beachfront villa at Coral Gardens snorkeling reef The space 3,200 sq. ft. villa directly on Grace Bay Beach, with fully facing ocean view, just 30 steps to the beach and snorkelling at beautiful Bight (coral) Reef. 3 king bed bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, for up to 6 adults and a living room pull-out couch for 1 or 2 children under 12 years old. We have a Pac n' Play and a crib for babies. Fully equipped kitchen, in-suite laundry washer and dryer, porch and dining room for a large family. Three bathrooms, walk-in showers; air conditioned, valuables safe, cable television and free hi speed Wi-Fi. Professional full housekeeping and concierge services included. All Coral Gardens guest amenities are included: beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, pools, parking, etc. - no extra charge. Steps from Somewhere Café and Lounge. Somewhere is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. Five minute walk to Jo Jo’s restaurant. Three minute drive (1 mile) to one of the nicest grocery stores on the Island. Bight Reef video (9 minutes): Search YouTube for "Bight Reef, Grace Bay, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos (compilation)". (Sorry, Airbnb will not allow links here.) You can safely stroll up and down the Grace Bay beach for miles and miles, it is rated as one of the best beaches in the world. The White House is 12 minutes from the international airport by car and is not in the flight path of the planes. Seeing or hearing a plane here at Coral Gardens is, at most, rare. Oh, and yes, I’m the owner of the White House. I bought it mostly for my immediate family to use. We thoroughly enjoy everything about Coral Gardens and are happy to share the White House with you. You found it right here at The White House Villa! The property is beautiful and the view is incredible! It was just what we needed for our family of five- my husband and myself plus our two adult sons and daughter-in-law. We were steps from the beach and a short swim to Bight Reef, where the snorkeling was awesome! Don is quick to reply if you have questions before or during your trip. The entire staff at Coral Gardens was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again! 5/22/2022 at 6:17 PM QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Q. Should I RENT A CAR? A. A rental car is not a must, but it's nice to have. With a car you'll be able to easily pop over to the grocery store and also explore the island. Expect to pay around $18 per person for the 12 minute taxi ride from the airport to Coral Gardens ... and pay again to return at the end of your stay. I like Grace Bay Car Rentals. They are a two minute walk from the airport terminal and their rates are competitive. Q. Where can we get SNORKELING equipment? A. The grocery store a mile away has nice quality inexpensive snorkels. We share three among our family of five. Each of us usually like to snorkel a few times a day for up to an hour each time. The reef is beautiful. We find that flippers are unnecessary because, when snorkelling, your head is mostly under water and you tend to float. Also, the reef is right there and there is negligible current - you hardly have to swim. Q. How far is the REEF from the White House? A. The Bight coral reef is right in front of Coral Gardens and the White House is the closest unit to the beach and reef. In a leisurely two minutes from the porch of the White House you can be snorkelling within arms length of beautiful coral and a variety of colourful tropical fish. In five minutes further out you’ll see turtles and rays, and sometimes be surrounded by schools of pretty fishes. I believe it is the only coral reef on Grace Bay that is readily accessible from the beach. My family and I each typically spend an hour twice a day snorkelling. There is always something new to see. Q. Can I rent a KAYAK? A. You can rent kayaks and paddle boards and small sailboats on the beach there. The staff at Coral Gardens can help you with things like that. Most people are happy simply snorkelling. Q. Is the nearby “SOMEWHERE” restaurant noisy for White House guests? A. It's not too noisy because much of their sound is directed toward the bay. Somewhere faces the water and is a fair distance from the White House. They close at 10 pm. (Updated June 24, 2021) Q. Is the POOL for exclusive use by White House guests? A. There are two pools (see the photos). They are for Coral Gardens guests. The pools aren’t a source of noise. They are too shallow for diving and are not very big. They are not used much. People mostly prefer the beach and snorkeling. Q. What other RESTAURANTS are nearby? A. A little further down on this page there information for reaching a web site with the menus of 43 nearby restaurants and a web site with reviews of many of those restaurants. Don :) Here's a copy of our first official review of the White House Villa on another vacation rental home owner's platform (Airbnb won't let me put their name here): Gorgeous views, perfect location Words will not be sufficient to exalt this vacation property. This is my 3rd time to Provo, and with increasing familiarity of the island, the location alone is reason to book this property. Wake up, grab your coffee and sit on the patio and gaze upon the cerulean beauty of the Caribbean. The views are unobstructed and at the heart of Grace Bay. This is the best of all worlds with a private home in a managed resort like property (beach towels, housekeeping, concierge like services to book activities). The property managers are kind, helpful, attentive. You are steps from the beachside restaurant/bar "Somewhere", which has killer Pina Coladas and delicious food. There are beachside attendants to guide you to chairs with umbrellas. There is world class snorkeling directly in front of the property, my daughter saw 6 to 7 sea turtles, and apparently there are eagle rays hanging out lately in the mornings. The property is convenient to much on the island, a short drive to town, to grocery stores, etc. The property itself is very nice, comfortable, and amenable to a medium size family or 2 to 3 couples. It was so nice to have a full kitchen to make coffee/breakfast every day. And to top it all off, the property owner, Don, is very nice and helpful. Do not hesitate to book this. There's a link to them further below. We especially like the Somewhere restaurant right there at Coral Gardens. We've enjoyed Mango Reef - a 4 minute drive from Coral Gardens. There is a web site which provides photos and menus of 43 restaurants on the Island. RESTAURANT REVIEWS: On the Internet there is a review of 25 restaurants on the Island.
