The main floor principle bedroom suite was built in 2023 and features a king bed and main floor bathroom with a walk in shower. This area can be closed off from the rest of the house or left open so others can access the main floor washroom. Upstairs has three bedrooms which all form part of the old house. Two bedrooms with queen size beds and one bedroom with two twin beds, perfect for the kids. There is a full bathroom upstairs with a claw foot bathtub. The basement is fully renovated with laundry and a family room for the kids to play or to watch a movie or the big game. There is a full bathroom with a shower. The family room also has a built-in queen size bed nook with a queen size bed. Perfect space for a couple. The living room on the main floor is comfortable and inviting with a wood burning stove which provides ample heating. The dining room can accommodate 10 people at the beautiful harvest table. The newly renovated (2023) large country kitchen is well equipped with cooking tools and supplies and features a large island with seating. Perfect for gathering together for making a large meal. In the warmer season, you will enjoy your morning coffee on the back deck and spend the rest of your time on the large screened in porch which was added in 2023. You won’t want to leave this west facing room which has plenty of space for reading a book, afternoon naps, board games and dining without the bugs! General necessities are provided: towels, linens, pillows, blankets, paper products, soap. Food, personal items and beach towels are not included. Guest access Access to the full house and the surrounding 3 acres. For guest safety, please do not go into the barn or log cabin. Other things to note The farmhouse was built in a different era - over 100 years ago. That adds to the character, but it also means the staircases are more steep than today's build and the doorways are a little shorter. For winter/spring 2024, we just finished a major renovation and parts of the exterior landscaping may be unfinished. Hopefully the grass will grow in nicely!
