Description
The Gallery apartment (3 night minimum) is a delightful spot for 2 or 3 visitors.. A Queen sized bed is in the bedroom and now a twin bed has been placed in the living area for separate sleeping. Spacious, bright, and airy, the apartment is above our home & my studio/gallery. The apartment is separate & includes its own entrance to ensure your privacy and convenience. It has been recently renovated. Superhost status from 2017 to 2023. The space The apartment is accessed by an outside stairway going up to the second floor. The living room is spacious and provides ample seating, as well as areas to work. A twin sized bed is located in a corner of the living area. Windows overlook our wooded backyard including a variety of birds at the feeder below. Internet access and a TV with satellite are provided. Although the apartment does not have a full kitchen, a small refrigerator, toaster, coffee pot, toaster oven and microwave are included for guest use. The bedroom includes a Queen size bed and a comfy chair for reading separately from the living area. There is a tub/ shower combination in the private bathroom. Thermostats on the wall next to the TV and by the bed regulate the heaters. The apartment has air conditioning . Guest access To get to the apartment: When looking at the house, take the paver walkway to the left side of house where you see 2 white chairs and the stairway leading to the 2nd floor entrance of the apartment. Wifi password will be provided upon check in. The entire apartment, seating areas in the yard and outside my studio are available to guests. My Studio Gallery is open in the afternoons and guests are welcome to visit and watch me paint. I am a watercolor artist and love to paint our beautiful coastal landscapes and villages. Examples of my prints can be seen in the apartment. Other things to note We require 3 day stays by guests. Most days and nights the cool Maine air will keep the apartment comfortable without the use of the air conditioner, but the visitors should feel free to use the one provided if needed. Bristol Rd. is a busy road so you may want to leave the windows down and use the air conditioner for complete quiet. The television has a Spectrum cable hook up. The directions for TV and air conditioner are located near them. Thermostats on the wall by the TV and the bed control the heaters.
