Rent a large house with two kitchens that sleeps 23 people where your family will have plenty of space with 5 bathrooms, an outdoor shower, 7 bedrooms, 2 dens, and a laundry room. Enjoy the convenience of walking only one block to the beach and three blocks to shops and restaurants, including McDonalds and Dollar General. Our street goes directly over to the beach and we have a pedestrian crosswalk where you can push the button to stop the vehicles so you can cross the street to the beach. Upper Level: Kitchen and dining table that seats 16. A wooden card table and chairs may be brought in from the den for additional dining seating. For any maintenance needs, please contact Mark, the maintenance man. An instruction packet will be left in the house for you. For 3 or more night weekend rentals, arrival time can be as early as 11:00 AM and departure time as late as 7:00 PM on your last day in order to provide more time at the beach. Parking at the house is available for 8 vehicles, depending on size. We have parking in front of house in driveway for 6 vehicles and 2 parking spots across the street from the house displaying the parking permits. House is waterfront at 104 Petherton Drive, on a canal with fenced-in, gated back deck for family picnics. Back deck has ocean breeze, 3 large dining tables and chairs, a large picnic table, and two lounge chairs for serving waterfront dinners to 23 people. House is beautifully decorated with wicker furniture and beach style quilts, bedspreads, and wall prints. There are no stairs to enter the lower level of the house, convenient for physically-challenged persons. Beach wheelchairs with large wheels are available at the Town Hall. The parking permits can be used to park on the road that runs along the beach for people who cannot walk to the beach. The two kitchens, one on each level, are fully stocked with porcelain and plastic dishes, silverware, glasses, wine glasses, cookware, serving platters, blenders, coffee makers, knife sets, microwave ovens, and toasters...everything you need to serve dinners to large groups of people. House has 3 large dining tables...2 on the upper level (seats 14 to 16), and one on the lower level that seats 8 people. Crabbing off the back deck can be done with a fishing license that can be purchased at a bait and tackle store. There are two central air-conditioning/heating units, one for each level of the house. Upper level living room has 47' LG smart 3-D TV that gets 500 cable channels and a Roku player that gets free Netflix, Amazon Prime, Britbox, HBO MAX, PBS, Hallmark Movies Now, Acorn TV, Criterion movies, and other shows and has a DVD player. Upper level master bedroom has cable TV with Roku streaming and has DVD player. Lower level den has 42" cable TV with built-in DVD player and Roku player. Lower level master bedroom has 42" TV with cable TV, DVD player, and Roku player with streaming of movie channels also. The house does not come with a linen service. Enough sheets, bath towels, and many beach towels are available in house for use of renters but must be washed and put away prior to your departure. Other options for linens are to rent sheets from Gale Force Rentals or to bring your own sheets but use the towels and wash them the night and morning prior to departure. You can rent kayaks at Coastal Kayaks or sign up for an educational guided kayaking tour of the bay. There are a variety of launch sites on the bay for their tours. Dogs are allowed but only on the lower level of the house. The inner stairway has a gate to lock out toddlers and dogs.
