This custom home, beautifully constructed from stone and natural logs, sits on 10.13 acres of lush private forest. Quiet and secluded yet minutes from Deadwood, this home truly lets you escape from it all. This cabin borders Forest Service land to the north and south, which allows for privacy, beautiful views, and abundant wildlife passing through. The outdoor space is set up for any kind of gathering, offering a regulation horseshoe pit, a firepit with plenty of seating, and a patio that can accommodate the whole family. In fact, this cabin was made for families, with personal touches to make everyone feel right at home. On the main floor, there's an open kitchen, a dining room, and a great room with vaulted ceilings and a wood stove. The expansive deck provides 360-degree views of the Black Hills of South Dakota. On the upper level, there are two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a cozy loft that's open to the great room and the dining room. On the lower level, you'll find one bedroom, one bathroom, a bar area, and a game room with a game table, a chest full of games, poker chips for the competitive ones, and a dart board. THINGS TO KNOW To reach this home, you'll need an SUV; the road is gravel and has rough spots when it has rained. This property is managed by Vacasa South Dakota LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
