Cosy Cottage with Optional Hot Tub

Our Cottages situated in a picturesque courtyard, right in the centre of Church Stretton. A unique space, featuring an *optional hot tub* to top the stay off with some indulgence (a one-off fee applies). Relaxing weekend? Friends reunion? Family stay? This is a perfect base. Local pubs, restaurants, cafes, and shops are all within walking distance. Scenic walks on Long Mynd, Carding Mill Valley, The Lawley, and Caradoc are easily accessible by foot or car and are not to be missed! The space Welcome to this quaint and cosy place to stay, close to the beautiful Shropshire Hills of The Long Mynd, Caradoc, The Lawley, Carding Mill Valley. A Walker's paradise and right in the main centre of Church Stretton with restaurants and pubs, shops and cafes within minutes (some, less than!). With decking surrounding the cottage, enter into the open-plan lounge with TV, small dining table for 4, and kitchen area where you are immediately wowed by the original and restored oak beams of the barn. The unique oak wood spiral staircase leads to a twin single bed mezzanine room - the 'first floor'. This room is open-sided to the kitchen / living area and has no door or wall, so we have supplied a folding privacy screen that can be set up to at least help with partitioning the room but please be aware that noise from downstairs will travel if young ones are sleeping upstairs. At the top of the stairs on either side are areas perfect for little ones to make their dens, or bigger ones if the mood takes you. We have a compact bathroom with shower, toilet and basin - please be aware that this room is small. Walk down the hall into the double bedroom with an birch frame and storage furniture. There is a side door from here, leading to the private decking and hot tub area. We have 2 small chairs and a **2 seater sofa-bed** in the sitting room which can be used for the 5th guest. PLEASE NOTE: If there are 4 guests (or less) wanting separate beds / sofa-bed, you must make us aware, as we request a charge of £45 for it's use / fresh linen provided which will be requested after your booking. There is a single-cup fresh coffee machine - please bring your own ground coffee of choice. The hob and oven are electric and we have a microwave, kettle and toaster. We have a compact freezer and separate under-unit fridge. Hopefully everything you need to have a comfortable stay. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OPTIONAL HOT TUB NOTES: The hot tub is optional and 'by request' at just £70 per stay. Please let us know through messaging and we will send a payment request. **You are welcome to enjoy the hot tub at your own risk and between the hours of 8 am and 11.00 pm only, due to consideration for neighbours** Please note, we cannot allow music playing outside at any time. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the cottage at a cost of £20 per dog (2 max) - just add this to your booking and hey presto, they're coming too. If you have large dogs with excessive fur, please please can you help our incredibly hard working cleaners by clearing any shed fur from the floor coverings. Dogs are not permitted around the hot tub enclosure and, obviously, not in the hot tub itself. We ask that you please clean up any pet mess responsibly. Note: The hot tub takes approximately 21 hours to empty, refill and re-heat. If there is a same day changeover, we will endeavour to prepare the hot tub for your first night. However, during peak times, this can be more challenging. On rare occasions, it may not be possible to have the water changed and heated ready for your first night. We always value your experience but also have to adhere to health and safety guidelines for use of a hot tub. We will sometimes need to top up the chemicals during a longer stay but we will arrange that with you. To help avoid any issues, and to keep the water clear, please do not spill drinks in the hot tub, and wipe off all tanning creams, and cosmetics / aftershaves and perfumes as this will come off with the chemicals and cloud the water. Guest access The host occupies the house opposite the courtyard and you welcome to say hello if he is home. The whole of the cottage and decking area to is yours including the private and optional hot tub, if requested (see £70 charge for hot tub in 'The Space'.) We have no parking at the cottage but you can park on the square for free, on the road for up to 2 hours. There is also free parking on Church Road adjacent to The Square. There are also 2 extra long-stay car parks 2 minutes walk next to the Co-op supermarket. All amenities are within a 5 to 10-minute walk of the property. A key safe is in place near the front door for self-check-in. DURING YOUR STAY The property management team, who look after the cottage, will be available 24/7 via Airbnb, email, or phone to provide any assistance my guests may need. The property is professionally maintained and cleaned, and professionally cleaned linens and toiletries are guaranteed. 24/7 guest support is also available before and during your stay. Other things to note If you would like a late check-out, we’re happy to offer this (this is subject to availability of our cleaning team) for an additional fee of £35, up to 1pm. After 1 pm, we will have to charge a further night's stay. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the cottage at a cost of £20 per dog and we ask that you clean up any dog mess. Please let us know if you are planning to bring your furry friends. You are welcome to enjoy the hot tub at your own risk and between the hours of 8 am and 10.30 pm. It takes approximately 21 hours to empty, re-fill and re-heat the hot tub. If there is a same day changeover, we will endeavour to prepare the hot tub for your first night. However, during Summer months, this can be more challenging. There may be an occasion the hot tub won't be warm enough for your first night. To help avoid any issues, and to keep the water clear, please have a quick shower before entering, especially if you use tanning creams, as this will come off with the chemicals and cloud the water. Our property is professionally cleaned and is set up to be remote access, ensuring there is no direct contact with anyone needed. The linen and towels are removed from the property after each stay and replaced with freshly laundered supplies.
