When you’re feeling peckish, the kitchen space has everything you could possibly need to conjure a feast, which you can serve at the dining table for two. Also on the ground floor is the shower room. Head up the stairs when night falls to sink beneath the sheets of the king-size bed, which sits beneath a low, sloping ceiling with Velux windows. Morning coffees are best enjoyed in the enclosed rear garden, sat on the patio with a view of the rolling fields. Just an 8-mile drive away, the picturesque market town of Woodbridge offers lots of things to do, especially for couples who enjoy the great outdoors. Take a romantic stroll along the River Deben, enjoy a tour around Woodbridge Tide Mill, or visit Sutton Hoo – one of the most important archaeological sites in England. And if you fancy a round of golf, there’s a course only 2.5 miles away from the cottage, plus a myriad of walking and cycling trails through the surrounding countryside.
