This quiet bedroom is on the third floor of our home, an 1890's Victorian that has been completely renovated (not just a coat of paint but stripped down to the studs). Explore one of the best neighborhoods in the heart of the city, easily accessible to major sites (Union Square, Moscone Center, Crissy Field, Fisherman's Wharf, Embarcadero, Golden Gate Bridge, Golden Gate Park, museums). Plus bustling, neighborhood streets and jogging/walking trails in nearby Presidio and on Crissy Field. Guests have access to laundry and frig in kitchen if needed. Stroll four blocks to Fillmore Street for top restaurants, cafes, bars and shops to suit any budget—more of the same on Upper Sacramento Street, plus noted home boutiques. Around the corner, the best patisserie in the Bay Area, a popular wine bar and acclaimed restaurant. Scenic running and walking trails in the Presidio and Crissy Field along the Bay. A quick Uber or Lyft ride to all major attractions. Transportation is easy without a car. Uber and Lyft arrive at our home within minutes or public bus is one block away. If you have a car, parking is difficult. During the weekdays Monday-Friday, a parking permit is needed, 9 AM-6 PM, beyond two hours ($6 a day and we apply for you.) Two bedrooms are at opposite ends of this floor with a bathroom in the middle. When guests reserve the one bedroom, we do not rent the second, thus, guests have complete privacy on the floor.
