The four-bedroom elevated saltbox offers additional kid quarters with a bunk bed, a private sundeck, a front screened-in porch, and a 480’ square foot screened-in porch that overlooks the canal. Waterfront-covered decks and dockside seating areas provide the full enjoyment of waterside living. End your days on vacation by enjoying a magnificent sunset on the water. Bring your boat, a fishing pole, or crab pot, or just relax on the spacious lighted dock with water and electric service. And for your convenience, a fish-cleaning table is available to all guests who stay at Westwind. Make this your ultimate canalfront escape! When you pull up to this epic waterfront retreat, you’ll find plenty of parking under the covered Carport to get cozy for your Outer Banks vacation. Pass by the Outdoor Shower (which is great for rinsing off after a day at the beach or kayaking in the canal) as you head towards the downstairs Lounge Area where you can relax while you grill up your fresh, catch-of-the-day on the nearby Gas Grill! After dinner, walk down to the dock where you can have fun crabbing, fishing, or putting your boat in the water for a little aquatic exploration. On the Main Level, you’ll find everything you need for a relaxing vacation and more! Enjoy the sunshine on the Front Sun Deck or make your way into the Screened-In Porch with comfortable furniture and a fan to keep the air circulating, making this the perfect place to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee in the morning as you bask in the cool breezes off the canal. Inside, relax in the spacious Living Area with high ceilings and soft furniture situated around a Flat Screen TV for the best family movie nights and ideal relaxation when you need it. If you enjoy cooking at home, stop by Billy’s Seafood Market for a fine selection of fresh seafood including everything from shrimp and oysters to mahi-mahi and tuna.
