Middle Cay is a luxurious, private island just off the coast of Harbour Island. With a coconut tree grove, two villas, and daily housekeeping. This two-acre island combines five-star amenities with a secluded location for the ultimate Caribbean getaway. The island has two docks, so guests can dock their sailboats, yachts, or rentals with ease. One dock even has an automatic boat lift. A working lighthouse adds nautical charm, a walkway winds around the entire island, and a fire pit makes s’mores a cinch. Fishing gear, a canoe, a standup paddle board, and three kayaks are perfect for spending the day on the sea. The surrounding islands are known for their pink sand beaches, coral reefs, and shipwrecks, so take advantage of Middle Cay’s snorkeling equipment to discover an underwater paradise. Harbour Island with it's pink sand beach, which offers jet ski, boat, bicycle, and golf cart rentals, as well as several restaurants and beaches. Middle Cay has two homes, and both have WiFi and air-conditioning. The Main House has an open kitchen and dining space with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a dining table that seats 8. Its living room has a flatscreen cable TV and opens to a private patio. Outside, there’s a pool and an outdoor shower. In the Cottage, there’s a common area with beautiful, exposed wooden beams and tile floors. The living room has plush furnishings and a flatscreen cable TV, and there’s dining at the bar and main table. It opens to the patio and has three walls of windows that reveal ocean views. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, a coffeemaker, and a mixer. The Main House has four bedrooms and the Cottage has three bedrooms. In the Main House, there’s a spacious master suite with a king bed, three walls of ocean views, a private patio, a lounge, and an ensuite bathroom. The second suite has two double beds, a window seat, and an ensuite bathroom. The third suite has two twin beds, ocean views, and a hall bath. The fourth suite has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom. In the Cottage, there’s a king suite with exterior access, ocean views, and an ensuite bathroom. The second suite has two double beds, exterior access, and an ensuite bathroom. The third suite is ideal for children, with a twin bunk, trundle bed, and a half bath in the hall. Daily housekeeping is provided. Middle Cay is highly accessible. From the airport, its a five-minute taxi ride to the nearest dock and then a two-minute boat ride to Middle Cay. This island provides the ultimate in privacy and luxury, as well as easy access to activities and provisions. Please Note - Listing includes BOTH the homes on the cay, DAILY housekeeping. Boat rides twice a day to Harbour Island. Also includes one outing for 4 hours for every 3 day rental, like feed the pigs, or a session of water tubing or water skiing, cruising to neighboring islands. If you need to rent your own boat during the stay we are able to help with that as well. Both Kitchens are stocked with basic spices. The fridge is stocked with basic condiments like Ketchup, mayo, mustard, soy sauce, steak sauce. Guests are responsible for the fuel for the boat. There are also boat taxies running from 6 am to 11:30 pm, that can take you around should you wish to do so. All areas of the island are open for guests. The peace and relaxation you experience on the island is beyond words. All this while having easy access to two of the main islands in the Bahamas. Our staff will greet you on arrival. Daily housekeeping is included. A gardener is on premises Monday to Friday. If you do not wish to have any of the staff just let us know at the time of booking. We are able to provide a private chef at extra cost. Harbour Island is famous for their pink sand beaches. It is the playground of the rich and famous. Lots of wonderful restaurants to pick from. From North Eleuthra airport you take a taxi, a 3 minute ride to the three island dock. From the dock our staff will pick you up for a 2 minute boat ride to your own private island. If you wish to explore Eleuthra you may hire taxis. On harbour island golf carts are available for rent by local vendors. If you wish to explore the waters around we have a canoe, a sail boat and 22 feet fast boat. We have fishing gear, boogie boards and a lot of water toys. You have access to our 22 foot boat for 7 hours daily, after that you may hire our captain for longer should you need. Fuel for boat is extra. There are water taxi's that run from 6 am to 11:30 pm should you wish to use them.
