Large, flat-screen TV, with YouTube t.v. and wireless access. Fully stocked kitchen including coffee maker and most other small appliances. Upstairs are the bedrooms and bathroom. 1st bedroom - queen bed , second bedroom - twin daybed with twin trundle. Bathroom has full tub/shower and washer and dryer. (bedding and towels included). Easy self check-in. We will be prepared to answer any last-minute questions and provide suggestions if inquiries are made. Phone numbers will be provided for emergencies, as well as check-out procedures. Other than that, unless you stay beyond 7 days and wish to have housekeeping come in (for an extra fee- cash only and pre-arranged) you will be left to enjoy our beautiful home. Should you wish to get to know "a local," simply introduce your ourselves to one of our friendly neighbors! Sit on the porch, enjoy the gardens while sipping some great local wines, and get to know our friendly neighbors! This unique condominium complex has mastered the art of balancing privacy and comeradrie. As the sun sets and your new friends begin to disappear into their own homes, take a stroll downtown and/or to the nearby beach. There are a variety of restaurants to suit all tastes and price ranges, groceries nearby and a local theatre as well. There are antique shops, an insanely inexpensive used book store, a lovely craft/quilting/knitting store, pharmecies, hardware store, and more. Walk, explore and fall in love with Carpinteria, as we have. There is a public bus to get you to nearby Summerland, Montecito, Santa Barbara and Goleta, or a train stop that can take you as far south as L.A. and San Diego or as far north as San Luis Obispo and Salinas. Uber is always an option. One off-street parking space is included with your rental. Uber is recommended for travel from the SB airport (approx. 20 miles away) to our home. If arriving at LAX airport, SB airbus stops in Carpinteria, about 1 mile from our home. Several students use this option and simply wheel their suitcase from the bus stop to our place.
