This home is a cozy retreat 2 miles from the beautiful mountain town of Highlands’ Main Street. The house has plenty of space for parking and an enjoyable front porch looking over the spacious front yard and wooded surroundings. The King and Queen bedroom both have French doors that open out onto the porch. The house has a contemporary mountain feel. Situated in a perfect location to enjoy Highlands with family or friends. The space The living space has an open floor plan connecting the living and dining space with the kitchen. There is an awesome indoor fireplace for your enjoyment. The kitchen cabinets are well stocked with cookware and serving ware for guest use. There are blankets or quilts available in each room so you can cozy up wherever you may be! Guest access The entire home is available for guest enjoyment! Each room has ample closet space for your comfort while you’re here! There is a locked owners closet near the kitchen, where we keep some things to stock for you prior to arrival. If you’d like to access the adorable cabin that you’ll see upon arrival. Please inquire! This cabin is conditioned with another queen pull out sofa and a queen bed in the loft (up a ship’s ladder), bathroom, and a kitchenette! It’s a spectacular little getaway, and we’d love to share it with you! It’s only offered to guests occupying Peak Place with specific arrangement and an additional $80/night. The cabin is very unique and a gem on the property but, of course, still an 1850s original cabin that’s authentic rustic with a camp feel, hence ‘Bear Necessities’!
