We hope to see you soon. The space *2 bedrooms: 1 queen bed, and 1 tri-bunk room (double below and a single at the top). *A barbecue on the spacious deck. Slow Cooker for hearty winter dishes or easy summer dishes. * Linnen/ towels are provided. * New oven/ dishwasher/ washing machine and work area. * Filter coffee machine, french press and Nespresso coffee machine (pods provided), hot chocolate/cappuccino/ tea provided. * Air-conditioning to heat and cool the whole house fast. Extra heaters and ceiling fans in every room. * Modern and clean furnishings. * Remote working: NBN, Wifi, I usually work from the lounge or dining table whilst enjoying the lake views, when it is warm I enjoy the deck too. Lake views and the trees increase my productivity and my creative thinking and solutions. When I need to change positions I move to the kitchen bench so I can stand or sit on a bar stool. A new desk, ergonomic/ comfy chair, laptop stand and power surge are available in the second bedroom. I personally love working from here. * The yard is not fenced but the balcony at the back is. * To access the house, there are stairs from the carpark to the house (see photo if you like to see what it looks like). * There is an old bush path to the lake but it is not a walking track, and it is steep and rocky. The old path is surrounded by lush vegetation created by the natural beauty of the area, and can grow over the old bush path. * Car: 3 hrs north of Sydney, 1.5 hours from Newcastle, beaches 10 minutes, golf 10 minutes, lake 1 minute, boat ramp 5 minutes. * Sports: Fishing, water skiing, canoeing, sailing, surfing, kite and wind surfing, swimming, kayaking, walking and running. *Toast Marshmallows over the open fire pit or on the deck with a lovely glass of wine or beer while you watch the sunset. Wood and marshmallows provided. Or snuggle up with a complimentary hot drink and extra blankets and enjoy the view from the cosy lounge, dining table or deck. Guest access You will have access to the whole house and property. Our co-host (Becky) is on hand to guide you to the property and ensure you check in ok, there is a key lock box at the property for your ease of access. Becky lives in Smiths Lake and will be able to answer any questions. Please note that there are stairs to the house. We apologise that this makes the house unsuitable for people in a wheelchair or who have trouble with stairs. Arriving at night? Please use the torch on your mobile phone to walk down the stairs. One on the Lakes Way towards Bulahdelah and one at Frothy Coffee café on Amaroo Drive. There is a golf course closeby at Sandbar. Registration Details PID-STRA-19838
