Our spacious and newly renovated large barn has a beautiful view of the Grand Valley. Relax among the vines under Mt. Garfield. Drink wine at one of the many wineries. Enjoy peace and quiet while picking a peach in the orchard or grapes in the vineyard. We are conveniently located 2 miles from downtown Palisade and 13 miles from downtown Grand Junction. From skiing, to mountain biking, to rafting, to hiking, and road biking there are outdoor activities nearby for all levels. The space Beautiful hickory floors upstairs and stained concrete downstairs, large butcher block kitchen island, and patio all with expansive valley views. Two bedroom (one king and one queen), one and half bath, and two car garage. The barn has a full kitchen and outdoor bbq for culinary adventures. Bike rentals available for wine touring or leisurely rides around the countryside. Featured on the walls are large format photography of the American west by local photographer Doug Sprock. Guest access There are 4 acres of wine grapes, half an acre of fruit orchard, and a full vegetable garden. Seasonally on the property are 6 friendly sheep. On the south end of the property (bottom of 4 acres) is a train track, there are daily trains. Next door there are three different wineries (Maison, Garfield, and Red Fox). We are 2 miles from downtown Palisade. We have two new cruiser bikes that we rent for an additional $10/day. You can also hire a horse and carriage team to take you around to the wineries, search JR's carriages. Other things to note Linens are provided for 4 people using the two beds. If additional linens are needed for sleeping on couch or floor, advance communication is preferred. If the barn is booked we also have another property at the front of the property called the Farmhouse. It sleeps 5.
