The space Hello everybody, We, Hans-Jörg and Brigitte Rapp, offer you the bright, comfortable 3-room (non-smoking) “Irslenbach” holiday apartment on the upper floor of a modern two-family house located in the village Altoberndorf near the town Oberndorf am Neckar, directly along the Neckartalradweg (Neckar Valley Cycle Route). The apartment provides two sleeping places each in two bedrooms, kitchen, living & dining room and bathroom. The tranquil village Altoberndorf is located between the Black Forest and Swabian Alb, the Stuttgart metropolitan area and beautiful Lake Constance – an ideal starting point for various excursions and recreational activities. The holiday apartment in a sunny location nestled in a quiet residential area has been classified “4****” by the DTV (German Tourism Association) and features the following amenities: A comfortable bedroom with North-East alignment, 2 windows and a magnificent view of the Neckar River and Neckar Valley, a large double bed (2 x 2 m), bedside tables and 2 cupboards. A second bedroom with two single beds and desk. Bed linen is included in the rental price. A fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, ceramic hob, electric kettle, toaster, coffee machine, dishes and cutlery for up to 6 people. A tastefully furnished daylight bathroom with toilet, bathtub, shower and numerous storage options. Towels are included in the price. A spacious living area features a plasma television with cable connection, DVD player, radio/CD compact system, selection of party games, working area with desk, WLAN, broadband DSL as well as regional information and maps. The apartment is suitable for children as well as senior citizens, but not for wheelchair users. Pets are not permitted. Oberndorf and the Upper Neckar region provide various cultural and leisure opportunities: open-air swimming pool (500 metres as the crow flies), monastery church, local heritage & weapons museum, Glatt Water Castle, Zollern-Alb Observatory, cinema, Schömberg reservoir, Triberg Falls and Hohenzollern Castle. The apartment is an ideal starting point for excursions in all four cardinal directions: Lake Constance (50 minutes by car) and Rottweil are located in the south, Stuttgart in the north, the Black Forest in the west, and Tübingen and the Swabian Alb are located in the east. Several regional and supra-regional premium hiking trails in the immediate vicinity attract hikers, while cyclists enjoy gradient-free cycling on the Neckartalradweg or the slightly more demanding “3 Valleys Cycle Route”. Motorcycle riders benefit from the interesting curved sections of roads in the Black Forest, on the Heuberg and the Swabian Alb.
