Situated in the lovely Spa area this truly unique, spacious, comfortable newly created apartment in a traditional building is a short walk to South Bay beach, Spa and Italian Gardens, 15 minutes' walk to Oliver’s Mount and town centre. The apartment occupies the whole top floor with a private lift entrance directly into the flat. Steps from the large living/dining room lead to a private balcony with sea views and there are panoramic vistas from every window. 2 pets welcome. Free reserved parking The space ‘Scarborough-Penthouse’ This apartment is absolutely unique, the space has a feeling of great comfort and elegance with fabulous panoramic views from all the large picture windows. Whilst being close to the beach and resort the penthouse offers a very calm and relaxing place for a holiday escape. High quality real leather sofas, Amazon Echo and a new 55” 4K TV, high speed broadband, comfortable beds, dining for six, and of course the specially designed balcony all help to make a stay here a truly memorable experience. The penthouse is perfect for a relaxing break with fast broadband, a work space and plenty of space for children. Search Google Maps for 360’ pictures. The contemporary kitchen is well equipped with a range of appliances including a coffee machine, microwave, oven and hob, fridge and freezer and washing machine. The large, modern, private bathroom with toilet includes both walk-in shower and a large bath tub with hand held shower. Both Amazon Prime Video on the TV and Amazon Prime music on Alexa are available for free. There are two spacious bedrooms both with spectacular views over Scarborough town and the castle and towards the North Yorkshire Moors. One bedroom has a king sized bed and the other has a double and single bed. There is also a single chair bed in the living room. Guest access You have exclusive use of the whole apartment and the private balcony. There is free private parking at the rear for one car, there is free on-street parking about 10 to 15 minutes' walk away and metered parking close by. The lift starts from the ground floor via the rear entrance or first floor by the front entrance. There is also access by the beautiful original Edwardian staircase from the front entrance only if you’d like some exercise. If accessing via the rear door and lift there is a step of 5 inches into the building. Please note the lift is quite small and not big enough for a wheelchair unless folded up. It measures 35” wide by 35” deep and can carry up to three persons or 225kg. It emerges straight into the flat and has a special code which we will provide in the check in details. As previously noted, the lift's maximum capacity is for up to three people or 225kg; it’s not big enough for a wheelchair unless folded up, dimensions are 35” wide and 35” deep Please request baby amenities. To avoid the front steps use the rear entrance to get the lift from the ground floor, the front entrance leads to the first floor. The apartment is all on one level except the balcony which is three steps up. Pets: there isn’t a shared yard so for ‘exercise’ there are two parks within five minutes' walk. The whole place is built to the latest UK regulations for fire , sound/thermal insulation and safety including the balcony and windows. Please don’t smoke or vape as this will set off the alarm in the whole building . You can smoke on the balcony but we would ask you to please close the door to avoid setting the fire alarm off.
