Modern Lower Level Apartment in the West End

The best of both worlds! This fully separate, newly renovated apartment (8ft ceilings and over 500 sq ft), offers a retreat from the bustle of city life. Located on a quiet, tree lined street you would think you are in the suburbs but don't be deceived - you're only minutes away from tons of excellent restaurants, bars, and cafes. A large shopping mall (Dufferin Mall), pharmacies, grocery stores, and parks are also close by. A quick walk to either the subway (Lansdowne station), 2 streetcar lines and buses, you can explore the city with ease and then return to this cozy space and relax. The space We've tried our best to ensure this apartment is welcoming, cozy and pleasing to the eye so as to make your visit to Toronto as wonderfully relaxing as possible. The space has dimmable pot lights throughout, and a separate temperature control so you can decide how toasty or cool you'd like the space to be. A pocket door between the living room (where the pullout sofa is) and the bedroom is available for added privacy. The bathroom comes with a bathtub and stand up shower and plenty of room for storage. The brand new washing machine and dryer are exclusively for your use. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs (but you may not use it too often as there are so many wonderful places to eat at nearby!). We hope you enjoy the apartment, your comfort is important to us! Guest access You will have full, private access to the apartment (enter via the side of the house). You are welcome to use the backyard and BBQ, these you'd share with us. It is quite a delightful space in warmer months, so many flowers and nature to watch. Feel free to cool off in the sprinkler! You will also be given a key to get to the laneway through the garage. It provides you with quick access to Dufferin Grove Park, Dufferin Mall, and acts as a shortcut to College st and Dundas st. Through the laneway you can also quickly arrive at one of the many Bike Share Toronto pick up/drop off locations so you can cycle around the city and then, when ready to head home, drop it off a few minutes from the apartment! Other things to note As we live upstairs and have a 6 year old son, and this is a lower level apartment, please note that sound does carry. That being said, it's never late at night and in the morning during the week only for a brief period as we prepare to leave for school/work. The apartment comes with a SoundSpa machine for your added relaxation.
