Take into account that you need to climb the stairs for one level. The elevator runs just till one level beneath. We do not live nearby, but we are available for our guests 24/7, via phone, e-mail or Airbnb. We have friendly people nearby that could help. The apartment is situated at 7 min of walking from the Radisson Blu Hotel, 3 min from the Subway station in Romana Square (offering optimal comfort and easy access to many cultural and leisure attractions) and 20 minutes walking distance from the Old Town. There are 24/7 open supermarkets, bakeries, plenty of good restaurant options, coffee shops, terraces, pubs and museums in the area. We also provide some discounts on some local pubs and a lot of local tips. From Otopeni airport: •You can call an Uber or Taxify car if you have one of the apps on your phone, although they are not allowed to pick you up directly outside the terminal: they will wait for you on the top floor of the car park, opposite the exit. •Bus (Express Line 783): this is an airport shuttle which runs every 30 minutes throughout the day, and then every 40 minutes at night. You should get off the bus at Piata Romana station. From there the apartment is roughly 10 mins walk. Travel time: 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. To take bus you will need a ticket, in the shape of an Activ card which needs to be purchased before you get on board. You can buy one from the little kiosk on your right hand side as you exit the arrivals terminal. A return journey to the city center costs 7 RON (approx 1.4 Euro), and you will also need to pay 3.70 RON for the card itself. However, it can be loaded with funds as often as you like at any ticket kiosk in Bucharest and used on all buses and trams •Taxi: is another convenient way to get from the airport to the apartment. Travel time: 30-40 minutes (depending on traffic). Fare price is approx Ron 30-40 RON (9 Euro). Please take care which taxi do you take. The price per km should be written clearly on the side of the car. Most of the companies charge 1.9 RON/km and the distance to Piata Amzei is aprox. 16 km. Ask the driver to use the charging machine and let him/her know that you are aware about the distance and the fair price. Car: If you are arriving by car, there is a public parking available nearby. No reservation is possible. In weekdays, from 8AM to 4PM charges are applicable (5 RON /hour - first 2 hours & 10 RON/ hour afterwords) This is a quiet apartment building from central Bucharest.
