The space We have two well equipped holiday cottages in our recently converted 19th century barn. Woodpecker Cottage is a spacious one bedroom cottage, a perfect cozy country hideaway for couples. There is a fully fitted kitchen with ceramic electric hob & oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge / freezer. Both cottages enjoy breathtaking mountain views over the stunning Dee Valley. Our location in the countryside but near enough to town allows you to enjoy the best of both worlds; a relaxing break taking in the beautiful scenery, attractions and wildlife on the doorstep, or if you're feeling adventurous, a more active break - Llangollen has some of the best walking, mountain biking and canoeing routes in the country. We frequently rent both of our cottages to larger groups (max 6 between the 2 properties) at a discounted rate, by prior agreement. Guest access Guests have access to a fenced off section of our paddock, and each cottage also has an outdoor courtyard, which have tables & chairs. Other things to note Please note: check in is after 4pm & check out is by 10am Towels & bedding included. Iron & ironing board provided. No hairdryer. If you are bringing a pet (only dogs are allowed - one dog only unless by prior agreement) we request that you let us know at the time of booking, & please ensure that dogs are not allowed on the furniture or upstairs. Dogs are not to be left alone in the property for any period of time, for any reason at all. Please note that we cannot provide cots & highchairs.
