2 character cottages, pool, 15 km from Tours

We are pleased to host you in a 19th century farmhouse, south cottage renovated in 2018 and north cottage in 2023. This set of buildings with pool offers you all modern comforts (220 m2), on the edge of the woods of St Jean du Grais and 15 km from Tours. The space Maximum capacity 12 people (children/babies count as one person). We offer 2 independent, spacious accommodations for rent simultaneously, ideal for groups of friends or 2 families, very comfortable and perfectly equipped: 2 buildings with independent entrances, a total of 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 4 powder rooms, 2 kitchens, 1.5 laundry rooms on a 3000 m2 fully enclosed plot with garden, terrace and private pool. The south gîte, not air-conditioned (120 m2) is composed of: 3 bedrooms (including 1 master suite bed 180 x 200 – bedroom 1), bedroom 2: bed 160 x 200, and bedroom 3 whose bed can be set up either as a double bed 160 x 200 or 2 single beds 80 x 200, 2 bathrooms (1 shower and 1 bathtub), and 2 powder rooms (including one separate from the bathroom), equipped kitchen with dishwasher, laundry room (washing machine and dryer) and living/dining room. The air-conditioned north gîte (100 m2): 3 bedrooms including 1 master suite bedroom 4 bed 160 x 200 independent adjoining the building, bedroom 5: bed 160 x 200 and bedroom 6: 2 single beds 90 x 200, equipped kitchen with dishwasher, 2 bathrooms (2 showers + washing machine) and 2 toilets (separate from the bathrooms), and living/dining room. Note that the sofas are not convertible (12 beds max). A portable crib and 2 high chairs are available, as well as a "shell" pool for children. Bed and bath linens are provided. Between the 2 cottages, in a furnished and flowered patio sheltered from any view, a heated saltwater pool of 4 m x 10 m, depth 1.4 m, equipped with a roller shutter, and the terrace area (deckchairs, tables/chairs, WEBER gas BBQ, parasol). We take care of cleaning the pool every day. Le Clos des Buis is close to the François 1er hunting lodge and a 12th century Priory. It is at the crossroads of the main castles of the Loire (Chenonceau: 18 km, Amboise: 15 km, Villandry: 22 km, Chambord: 70 km). Beauval Zoo is 60 km away (45 minutes by car) and Futuroscope is 96 km away (1 hour by car). The town of Azay-sur-Cher (3,500 inhabitants) participates in the regional program of the Cher bike paths, and has all amenities (bakeries, tobacco-press, pharmacy, gas station, supermarkets -with ATM- and a local products store with short supply chain also open on Sunday morning). Guest access Le Clos des Buis is entirely dedicated to guests. Free parking on the property for several vehicles. Other things to note We also speak/write German and English. The cottage is equipped with Free fiber optic internet. TV, CD + DVD player, books, board games available in the house. Deckchairs + garden furniture, parasol, BBQ to enjoy the beautiful days outdoors in summer season.
