Old Rag Cabin is close to hiking trails such as Old Rag Mountain and White Oak Canyon Falls. It is nestled is on 4 secluded, wooded acres in the Blue Ridge mountains. The cabin overlooks a serene pond full of fish. Rose and Robinson rivers are a short walk away. Enjoy hiking, fishing, scenic drives, campfires, wine tasting, civil war battlefields, apple picking, horseback riding and much more. It is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway or a family vacation. Only 90 min drive from D.C. Unplug! The space The cabin is very cozy and comfortable. It is a true cabin with wooden walls and vaulted ceiling. Guest access Prior to your arrival we will email you with specific directions and instructions on how to access the cabin. Or caretaker, Connie, lives just up the hill from the cabin and will check in on you after you arrive. Other things to note Bring charcoal, and food with you. There is a full grocery store in Madison, VA (20 min away). There is also a local mercantile just a few miles away for the bare necessities and fishing licenses.
