Visit Hush Heath, the state of the art winery, with a beautiful 400-acre estate, where some of England’s most iconic still and sparkling wines, and ciders are produced. Visitors can join a guided vineyard and tasting tour. Garden lovers should head towards the National Trust owned Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens, which once belonged to the writer Vita Sackville-West and Harold Nicholson and is one of the most famous gardens in England achieving Grade I Status. The gardens at Great Dixter, Pashley Manor and Scotney Castle are also not to be missed. Described as the ‘loveliest castle in the world’, Leeds Castle is nestled near the county town of Maidstone, where you can also enjoy open air concerts in the summer. Tunbridge Wells is half an hour’s drive away and offers Jazz on the Pantiles and many fine dining experience. Beaches can be found at Hastings and Camber Sands and there are very good rail connections to London offering the theatre and additional sightseeing opportunities.
