House and garden is for your exclusive and sole use! Our romantic, over 300-year-old country house is situated in a sunny position on a hill near the Danube and the idyllic Danube lake. The unique cultural landscape of the Wachau with gentle hills, fields and meadows invites you to relax and enjoy. Swimming, water sports, cycling / mountain biking, hiking, fishing and many cultural activities nearby. The space The house with 110 m2 of living space has been renovated by us authentic and with great attention to detail. We have preserved the old substance and equipped the building with selected furniture from 5 decades in shabby chic and industrial look as well as modern technology. A highlight is the art collection, which can be found in the whole house as well as on the facade. A comfortable kitchen, a large living room with two bed-sofas and a dining table for 6 people, a bedroom with a double bed and a spacious wardrobe, a small study with a sofa and a desk, as well as a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet offers plenty of space for up to 4 people. A special feature is the cellar, which is struck in the natural rocks, where drinks can be stored in a cool place and bicycles can be parked. Two covered and furnished terraces complete the living area. Included in the price: Fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker and oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, four coffee machines (espresso machine with portafilter, Italian moccas, french press and filter coffee machine), water cooker, toaster, tea & coffee, salt, pepper, sugar, vinegar and oil. Hand-, bath- and kitchen towels, bed linen, hairdryer, soap, shower gel. Wi-Fi internet access free of charge. Internet radio in the kitchen, record player in the living room. Automatic central heating with heat pump. In the garden you will find a hammock between two old walnut trees, a fireplace / barbecue and sun chairs. On the large south-west terrace is a dining table, where you can eat and enjoy a glass of Wachauer wine in the sunset. On the small south / east terrace the breakfast with bird singing in the morning sun will make you smile. Furthermore, there is a sky-bed for daydreaming and many lovingly designed places to stay. Please feel free to take fruits, nuts and herbs which are growing in the garden. Guest access House and garden is for your exclusive and sole use. You can enjoy your holiday undisturbed and also listen to loud music :-) Depending on the weather, it may be necessary that we have to do some gardening (pouring, lawn mowing) during your stay. But we will coordinate it with you to disturb you as little as possible. Other things to note Please note: Our house is located near the forest and surrounded by meadows and fields. The fields are beiing cultivated by the farmers. This means that from time to time grass is mowed and wood is cut or harvested.
