Set atop a hill with beautiful panoramic views of the bay and Atlantic Ocean beyond, this eco-friendly 6BR home has a large pool and spa and is a quick drive to excellent restaurants and wonderful Southampton beaches. A lovely private bay beach is just down the street. The privacy and seclusion, as well as the spacious open floor plan and modern furnishings, make the property a special retreat for family and friends. There is also a separate cottage that may be available for use upon request. The space This 4,500 square foot home is on a hilltop overlooking Shinnecock Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, with expansive water views from the 60-foot long heated pool and spa, and from most rooms. It is located down a long private driveway, and is a quick walk to a secluded beach that is great for a beach stroll, launching a kayak, or taking a dip. The south-facing pool area features bluestone terraces, lush landscaping, chaise lounges, two dining areas, umbrellas, outdoor shower and Weber gas grill. Inside, on the main and second floors, are five airy bedrooms, three with balconies, open great room with fireplace and dining table for 12, a chef's kitchen with separate pantry, upper terrace overlooking the water, and screened-in porch with a cooking fireplace and seating. All the bathrooms have stylish finishes and new tile work. On the lower level is a large TV/recreation room that walks out to a stone patio and lawn, a 6th bedroom, bathroom, and laundry room. There is a interior/exterior ping pong table and a basketball hoop in the driveway. The main house has central air/heat and two interior wood-burning fireplaces. In addition, there is a separate cottage with a living/dining room, a separate studio, a kitchenette, fireplace, bathroom, television, and window A/C units. Guest access There is wi-fi and cable TV. Guests can use beach chairs and beach towels. A beach parking pass for Coopers, Flying Point, and other beaches can be obtained for an additional fee. There is a surround speaker system with cable connection to iPhone or iPod. Televisions: 42" in the great room, 50" in downstairs master, 55" in lower level recreation room, 42" in cottage bedroom, 50" in cottage living room, 20" in upstairs master, 32" in two of the upstairs guest rooms. The great room has Apple TV. Other things to note Minimum stay is two weeks. Not wheelchair accessible. Pets considered on a case-by-case basis. Non-smoking only. Parking for six cars.
