Historic cabin, a rare find, completely renovated and made available only very recently. Our historic cabin is nestled between beautiful rock outcroppings and the Big Thompson River. We are five minutes away from downtown, but the cabin is on a quiet private road surrounded by Roosevelt National Forest. We have room for four people. Hiking, fishing, relaxing, tourist attractions and Rocky Mountain National Park. We have a caretaker nearby who can help if your have any questions or immediate needs. Otherwise you can enjoy your privacy! The twelve cabins in our community are all privately owned and were originally built by residents of Berthoud, Colorado in the 1920's and 30's as their family fishing get away. Only two cabins are ever available for rental by visitors. Your peace and privacy are assured! A car is very useful for touring. The National Park has a great bus tour service in RMNP. There is also an excellent Tourist Center with lots of information about activities in the Estes Park area. Outdoor activities abound with fly fishing right in front of the cabin, rock climbing, hiking horseback riding, a water slide, and wonderful vistas everywhere! RMNP is awesome as is Trail Ridge Road. This is a must see!
