Walden Cottage

We are accepting guests for short terms stays of up to a week. We are flexible and could extend this for possibly two weeks, but we also want our apartment available for our family and friends. We are new grandparents and want to be able to host our family and friends throughout the year. The space The living quarters are separate from our home and are used for our friends and extended family. Pets are part of our family, so we will accommodate well behaved family pets. The apartment is studio style; the sleeping areas are separate but without privacy of private rooms. The loft has a full size futon and downstairs there is a queen bed with new mattress. Guest access Wifi working well. The connection to our home wifi has survived, hail, wind, and nearby tornadoes this year (2026). We hsf a power outage with very strong straight line wind in March, but our guests were very understanding and we refunded them the days that we were without electricity. Other things to note The apartment is newly constructed in a former carpentry shop that the previous owner built off the detached garage.
