House of Sokolovi - Cultural Heritage in Kratovo

Built in the 19th century, the house is characterized by authentic old-town Macedonian architecture which was placed under the protection of the Republic Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, declared a Cultural Monument in 1980. Be surrounded with unspoiled nature, fresh air, old architecture, cultural-historical sites, warm welcome and the specific Kratovo cuisine which makes this town one of the most desired and visited tourist destinations in Macedonia. Decorated with the appearance of a typical Macedonian house, but equipped for modern day living, you can enjoy time with your family or move your workplace to a quiet place where you can connect with nature. Staying in our House you will feel the real Macedonian spirit. Sorrounded by nature in the pieceful part of the city you will get your batteries full while enjoying all the ammenities our house has to offer. Our house is fully equipped for comfortable short or longer stay of maximum 6 people. We have a beautiful yard with amazing outdoor seating/dining area where you can have family or friends meals or just do your remote work while enjoying the amazing view. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the church “St. John the Observed” between the narrow old town alleys with an extremely imposing view of the Manceva River and the natural setting of Mount Baba. During your stay you can order traditional meze and food from the local restaurant nearby 'Kaj Kuze' and have the food delivered to the house or pick it up and eat it at the yard. Guest access You will have the whole house for yourselves. We are renting the whole house as a unit. House of Sokolovi is located in the old town of Kratovo. Our apartment is hosted by a lovely man named Zoki. The best way to find the house is to go to the church st. If you are by car, we recommend you leave your car parked on the street where the church is.
