The "Bunk House" is about a mile above Roan Mountain State Park and has been completely renovated. It consists of two units that are decorated in a rustic style that children will love and we like to call "Cowboys" and "Indians". "Indians has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed with rhododendron branch headboard, and the other with an authentic looking (No fooling) Covered Wagon Bed with room for a couple of young braves or princesses. We decorated "Indians" with our grandchildren in mind... "Indians" has a fully equipped rustic-western style kitchen nicely equipped. The bathroom has an inviting 2 person cedar shake lined Jacuzzi. On the front porch, you can sit in rockers and enjoy the sounds of rushing Cove Creek across the road or enjoy a picnic in the secluded side yard next to what we call Meares Creek. Indians now has WI-FI. Indians now features WI-FI...so you can bring your fire stick.
