Lovely Lake Tahoe view + large deck

Located on Lake Tahoe's north shore, our comfortable cabin offers a quiet mountain retreat, expansive Lake view and close proximity to skiing, hiking, golf, shopping, dining and gambling. 2 bedrooms downstairs (1K + 1Q) plus a LOFT that sleeps 7 more. The space Huge living space - great for family reunions. Large deck overlooking Lake Tahoe, perfect for outdoor dining in the summer. Private driveway for 3 cars. Easy walk into Kings Beach for yummy restaurants, cute shops and access to lake's edge at the public beach. Lots of beach activity in summer (para-sailing, paddle-boarding, hang-gliding). Or step out our back door for great hiking trails. In winter, it's only a 20-30 min drive to world-class skiing, such as Northstar and Squaw Valley (site of the 1960 Olympics). The Cal-Neva border is less than a mile away for fun casino gambling. Our grandfather built this home for our family 60 years ago and we have generations of wonderful memories here. We hope you will create some great memories here too! Our fun custom dining table converts to a casino-style table with 8 personal sections for cards, poker chips and drinks. The new 55" flat screen SMART tv (purchased 7/20) gives you access to your own Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Amazon accounts. Wireless internet. Please note - there are quite a few (47) steep steps leading up from the driveway to the front door so it is not handicap accessible. Guest access Access to everything. Cupboards are stocked. Please just replace whatever you use up (for instance cinnamon, salt, etc). We do not provide wood for a fire - but you may use the fireplace if you like with your own wood. No fires in the Summer, please due to extreme Fire Danger. Thx! Other things to note We have a laundry room down under the house with a large washer and separate dryer. PLEASE DUCK YOUR HEAD AS YOU STEP DOWN into the laundry area :) Important note - we do not have a land-line phone. Someone in your party must have an active cell phone, and a charger, in case of emergency. In the winter months we try our best to keep the driveway and steps cleared from snow but we can't guarantee it, and if there's a heavy snowfall right before you drive up you may have to step thru deep snow to get up to the front door.
