A beautiful home located on the Withlacoochee River in historic Yankeetown. It is “Old Florida” at its best. It is a short boat ride to the Gulf of Mexico on one of Florida’s most beautiful and undeveloped rivers. You can swim, fish, scallop, kayak, hike as well as drive to many gorgeous springs, Gainesville (Go Gators!), Cedar Key, Crystal River, Goethe State Forest. A truly unique venue. There are several nearby boat ramps with easy, deep water access to the Gulf of Mexico. The space There are local fishing guides, river guides, seafood, and state parks. Great fishing, scalloping, kayaking, and hiking. An easy drive to Florida gator football. The house has a large yard and private floating dark. Guest access The entire property is available to guest; the house, lot, and floating dock. Other things to note In July 2019 new mattresses were added to all beds.
