Plaz Vilka Beachfront Cottage #3 is a Quaint cottage located on Lake Erie, close to Cedar Point Amusement Park. Walk in the water sandy beach, terraced decks to view magnificent sunsets and Lake Erie. Campfire ring for making s'mores, firewood provided. A perfect place to unwind. Nearby is the nautical town of Vermilion, with shops and restaurants. Rates taxed 13.75% (OH sales & Erie Co lodging combined). Seasonal rental from May 1st thru October 31st. The space Cottages are vintage, from an era when families came to the Vermilion area on the electric railroad from Cleveland, Toledo, Detroit, etc to relax in the sunshine and enjoy Lake Erie. Located four miles west of beautiful Vermilion, a great place on a Great Lake filled with shops and restaurants. The one room Cottage is 20 x 20 with a separate shower bath. A kitchenette (Two burner electric stove, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator) is in one corner of the room. Free WiFi. Think 'Tiny House'! Guests walk to the large waterfront backyard for the magnificent view. Walk in the water sandy beach, terraced decks to view amazing sunsets. Campfire ring for making s'mores (firewood provided), gas & charcoal grills with picnic tables located near the Cottages. Guest access BBQ area (shared), complete with gas & charcoal grills, picnic tables, located in front of the Cottages. Guests can access in the large waterfront backyard: Fire pit-with firewood provided, multiple seating areas to view the water & sunsets. The terraced decks are accessible from a grassy ramp from the bluff. The sandstone decks at the waterfront have chairs, chaises, & an umbrella table to sit & enjoy the view. A sandy beach is located on the east edge of the sandstone deck which allows guests to access the water. The entire beach (110 feet) area is sand and the water depth gradually increases to a depth of 4 feet, 60 feet out into the water, perfect for swimming or using a floatie on the water. Size of the beach is subject to Mother Nature! *Please note the waterfront backyard is shared with other Cottage guests Other things to note At the end of their stay guests are asked to do the following: •Remove all linens from bed(s) used and place in a pillowcase on the floor. Fold blankets/quilts & leave on bed. •Place used towels in a 2nd pillowcase & leave on floor for laundry pick-up. •Empty refrigerator of food & wipe out frig/kitchenette counter/table with kitchen cleaner & paper towels provided. •Please take all trash to bins by garden shed.
