Our homestead, Misty Isle Acres, is our little imperfect oasis, nestled within the beautiful Helderberg hilltowns of Albany county. Our in-law apartment contains a bedroom, full bathroom, and living room with TV (inc. Netflix & Disney+), DVD player, and futon. There is an enclosed porch and deck, complete with tables, chairs, and grill. We also have a large pond and woods to explore. Please note, this is a working homestead; the grass isn't always mowed and sometimes there are animal smells. Depending on the year and season, we will have various animals, which may include chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, lambs, and a rabbit. Fresh eggs will be provided when available. Please note, certain cell phone providers have spotty service at our location. Someone will be on premises most of the time, but otherwise available via phone to answer any questions. Our secluded property is within a short driving distance of parks, hiking trails, lakes, and restaurants. Only 10 minutes from the quaint village of Altamont and 30 minutes to Howe Caverns, Secret Caverns, and Albany attractions.
