Our home is located in a very picturesque area in Vermont. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful stay, then this would be the place for you! We are located equally between Rutland, Manchester and Glens Falls NY. 5 minutes to Lake St Catherine and 2 minutes to the Deane Preserve Biking and Hiking trails... There is always someone here to upon your arrival to welcome you to our home. It is our pleasure to make you feel as comfortable as possible. We love where we live! The space The 2 bedrooms and bathroom are your own personal space on the first floor in its own wing of the house. We never book unfamiliar guests at the same time so there is no need to be concerned about sharing spaces with someone you do not know. The kitchen and it's contents are at your disposal, as well as the living room. We want you to feel at home!! Guest access The kitchen is open for our guests use. Fresh eggs are available every morning when the Hens are laying. Our Hens give us fresh eggs every day usually from April till October. Our sitting room and living room are shared spaces. We have enjoyed great conversations with our guests and we love learning about their experiences. Our back yard comes with various sitting areas, shaded or not..fire pit or fireplace and a picnic table. There is a trampoline and play yard out back as well as a sandbox for children. During your stay We love to share our time and stories with our guests, but we also are glad to give them their space. Timber, and Brindle who enjoy a large fenced in yard but come inside in the evening They are very friendly. We also have a sweet and loving cat named Garfield.. He thinks he owns the whole estate! We have an assortment of free range chickens and roosters. They can be seen wandering around the yard. They also provide us with fresh eggs every morning! You may be able to see some Turkeys or deer wandering on our property...but we have never seen a bear!
