Located on the outskirts of Estremoz and surrounded by nature, our rural tourism is the ideal retreat to enjoy the peace of Alentejo. This independent apartment with 1 bedroom and a living room with a kitchenette is located in Monte dos Pensamentos and allows access to common areas such as the gardens, swimming pool and game room. The space Built in the 18th century, our house was remodeled in the 1930s by the architect Raul Lino, and has since been renovated several times. The house belonged to the ancestors of the writer Ruben A., until, in 1966, Ruben inherited it and it then became a place of gatherings, frequented by friends of the writer, such as Miguel Torga, Manuel Cargaleiro and his cousin Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen, among others. It was in 1986, after Ruben's death, that the family decided to turn it into a rural tourism destination. Since then, the house has been enlarged and is now a comfortable retreat that maintains its history and rustic essence. Currently, Monte dos Pensamentos is composed of several apartments in addition to the main house, a game room, a swimming pool, an Alentejo tank and an outdoor space where you can leave your pets safely.
