Turtle Dunes also offers it's own private tennis courts for use by guests. The larger AIP community is a beloved 1,340-acre paradise that is surrounded by maritime forests, tidal salt marshes and pristine, sandy beaches. Dining, shopping, and spa services are offered at the Omni Amelia Island Resort, located within the AIP. Golf is also available within the AIP at Oak Marsh and Little Sandy short course. There are multiple other great courses on the island as well. Tee times can be scheduled online. Nearby, bike and golf carts can be rented to explore the larger community and venture to AIP playgrounds like Drummond Park and Aury Island. Many of our guests enjoy strolling on the beach or along the AIP's miles of shaded walking and biking trails. For those looking to adventure further afield, the scenic drive north on A1A will take you to the charming Fernandina Beach Historic District, where you can find unique boutiques, shops and dining options. Drive south on A1A to visit coastal nature preserves like Little Talbot Island State Park, known for easy biking, hiking, kayaking, and birding opportunities. .
