The Perch - cozy room yards from forest trails

A simple, spacious well-lit room with its own private entrance welcomes you to the Lake Griffy area. This location is nestled between IU’s campus (just a pig skin’s throw from the stadium) and one of Bloomington’s green gems. The fenced in back yard allows a space for kids to play and enjoy the forest setting. The bathroom glows in the morning light and has everything most folks need to start and end their day! Guest access On arrival you’ll be feet away from the private entrance. (Entry instructions will be messaged to you on booking.) The red door is easy to spot. Open the private entrance and find the coziest bed waiting for you. There is a closet in the bedroom for any travel wear you may need to hang and a few small tables and chairs when you get settled. The private bathroom is just off the bedroom up one step. The shower is stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body washed, all with herbal scents. In the rear of the home is a back yard with a nice red porch that we share. To access the back patio, guests walk from the front of the house around to the gated fenced in backyard. There’s a swing a few large trees. There’s also a grill with charcoal and lighter fluid if guests feel like cooking. During your stay I like to know my guests have what they need, and so I ask, but I don’t come knocking, and I don’t expect being very involved in my guests’ trips unless they make a specific request or invitation.
