Our large lot is located in the prime area of Lake Almanor Country Club, on Peninsula Drive halfway between “Rec 1” and “the Point.” This quiet area is just far enough away from the traffic of Rec 1 but within easy distance to enjoy the tennis courts, beach, etc.. Enjoy a picturesque walk to the Point! Head over to the golf course or driving range. Massive trees surround our home, which is on the inward side of the road and faces east toward the lake. This eastern side of the peninsula is away from the windy west side of the peninsula. Our lower property includes a parking space for your boat. Our very big back lot includes our large lawn and manicured landscaping.  Outdoor eating area complete with lake view, barbeque, picnic bench and chairs to watch the fun! Relax and eat on our large front deck while taking in beautiful views of the surrounding forest and Lake Almanor. Nature is in abundance in and around our lot. Watch squirrels and chipmunks scramble around the trees, and the deer as they stroll by and relax on our property. Massive trees surround our lot, which set an environment of relaxation and peace. Numerous birds fly overhead, filling the air with their sweet sounds, including ospreys, Steller’s jays, finches and even the occasional bald eagle. Step outside at dusk and watch the fascinating flight of bats! In the evening, enjoy our tremendous views of the Milky Way and beautiful starry skies. This is the vacation you’ve been dreaming about — a huge lake for your recreation! Located in the Sierra Nevada, east of Chico, Lake Almanor is a gem! There are lots of fun things to do within the country club - 9-hole golf course with putting green, driving range, pro shop, restaurant and lounge, tennis, tennis lessons, tennis pro shop, 2 recreation areas offering boat launches, beaches for swimming, parks, picnicking, playgrounds, basketball, pickle ball, volley ball, horse shoe and shuffle board courts. Outside the Country Club there are boat rentals, horseback riding, bike rentals, a 9-mile bicycle/jogging/walking trail, fishing, hiking, restaurants, shopping and 2 other golf courses around the lake. Local amenities include bank, post office, restaurants, grocery store, library, doctor's office, gas stations and airport. Guests must sign owner's Rental Agreement before booking is confirmed. Since we are within Lake Almanor Country Club (LACC), guests must complete and submit LACC's Renter Registration form, submit payment to LACC, and follow all LACC rules and regulations (guests are subject to LACC fines for any non-compliance, such as speeding). * Note: Lake Almanor Country Club (LACC) charges all renters additional fees (renter occupancy fee and boat launch fee). LACC requires these fees to be paid by renters at least 14 days prior to the Check-in Date. An LACC “Renter Registration” form will be e-mailed to you. Please see the LACC form for their current rates. No pets, no smoking or parties are allowed at this property. Refunds will not be given for any natural disasters, acts of God, inclement weather, illness, accident, death of a family member or traveling companion, jury duty, or any other personal issues which cause delay/ cancellation of travel. We utilize a monthly pest control service, which sprays the outside of the house for bugs. This scheduled maintenance may/may not occur during your stay; it only takes a few minutes and you do not need to interact with the technician. Our lawn is mowed bi-weekly.
