We personally hand-crafted and built Dancing Fox with 95% gathered salvaged and re-purposed materials to enable us to offer our guests an environment that will sweep you back to the earlier life and times in rural plains Ohio. Relax and experience unique lodging combined with modern amenities yet enjoy the casual rustic nature of what our cabin will radiate during your stay. You'll enjoy features like antique chalkboards used as countertops, hayloft floors, handmade lighting fixtures and more. The space Our cabin is not set in a wooded area, however we have trees surrounding the cabin allowing you a private feeling setting it apart from the main farm home. We built Dancing Fox to highlight what David Harpster and his family (original owner) resided in back in 1842 during the making of bricks on the property building the main farm home. Don't worry! The cabin has indoor plumbing, plenty of hot water, cable TV, WiFi, comfortable beds and furnishings and all the other amenities we have become accustom too. It's a great little cabin to experience and we're pretty sure you will love it too! Other things to note If you are having a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary, engagement, etc...please let us know so we can accommodate you with decorations, cake, flowers, local wine, local chocolates....anything.
