Start your walks right outside the front door. So many pretty houses and yards. One of my favorite walks is to the old train station by the Colorado River. Always discovering something new. Public trails are within a block of house. Trail head to Doc Holliday's grave is just a few minutes walk. A 15 minute walk to the Roaring Fork River for fishing. The 12th street ditch trail is just one block south of the 1903 Victorian great access to trails, bike path and the river. 12th Street ditch used to be the city limits on the south side of Glenwood Springs back when it was a very small town. This part of town is within walking distance to anything your heart desires! You can walk to both Hot Springs, the amazing Vapor Caves and the Adventure Park. Restaurant Row 3 blocks away. Shopping, coffee shops, bike/ski rental, spas, live theater, health club. Library, and Frontier Historical Museum. Forrest Service main offices just 2 blocks away, neat building. The list is unending then their is public transit and the bike path to Aspen 2 blocks from home. Note* In 3 blocks and over the bridge you'll be at the Hotsprings.The newer Iron Mnt Hot Springs is a 10 minute walk past bridge. There is a Carriage House on the property it's rented out to a nurse with a dog in the summer. And the coolest couple you'll ever meet who come each winter from Brazil.
