Parking above with grassy walk & stairs down a small hill to cottage (not handicap accessible, sorry). Very special! Harboside Cottage rest in the area's most prime kayaking waters, where you can quickly paddle to explore nearby islands trails, rock climb, or relax on their crushed shell beaches. Walk to downtown in less than 2 minutes. Completely independent property w/ water on two sides. Private parking above cottage at street level. Access to property includes walking across a grassy yard, down a set of stairs, and slightly down to the cottage. This property is not appropriate for people with health or mobility issues, particularly in transporting luggage and groceries. We have had satisfied guests of all ages, but a few have found the access more challenging. Please look at the pictures carefully to evaluate the appropriateness of this rental for your needs and abilities. We are nearby if you need us, but your preference for privacy is what we follow. Harborside is located in downtown Stonington, on a sidestreet that runs right along the habor. Very picturesque. You really need a car for this area. A parking space is provided. While the cottage has a pull-out sofa in the living room and "can" sleep 4, it is much more comfortable for just 2 people. Also, the terraced lot above the cottage is available for guests use, too!
