If sunshine may wake you in the morning we suggest eye covers as we do not use blinds so as to allow the full effect of the outdoors inside. New stand-alone tub with views out to the trees and ocean and a luxurious walk-in shower bring serenity the moment you enter the room. The two (queen) bedrooms are on the lower (third) level with two full baths (one ensuite and the other across the hall for ultimate privacy and space). The hot tub is accessible via the two lower bedrooms The living area is spacious, bright, and relaxing. The main floor, living area includes a half bath for convenience. On the living floor is plenty of seating. There are two large couches (one in the TV room and a sectional in the living room plus additional captain swivel leather chairs). The neighborhood is El Granada, we are about a mile uphill from surfers beach and Princeton Harbor. Princeton Harbor is still a fishing harbor where the live catch of the day can be purchased. Lots of great restaurants and activities are now in the Harbor area. Kayaks can be rented at Half Moon Bay Kayak right off of HWY 1 at the lights into Princeton Harbor. Sams Chowder House (Restaurant) or Half Moon Bay Brewery (Restaurant), as well as Barbara's Fish Trap (Restaurant) and JettyWave Distillery (food, drink, and music) plus many others, are ready for fantastic outdoor seating - all by the ocean nearby. San Francisco is 35 minutes and Palo Alto is 40 minutes. SFO is 45 minutes. Santa Cruz is 45 minutes, Monterrey is 1.5 hours and Napa is 1.5 hours. Rental Includes a 10% San Mateo County Transient Occupancy Tax that is paid directly to San Mateo County by the owner. Tax is taken during check out and is indicated as Community Tax. Guest access We will provide guests with a key code the day of, or before your arrival. We assign a unique code for you and your visit time. This is typically the last four digits of your phone number. The electronic door keypad is easy to see on the front door. Guests will have full access to the home and decks during your stay. We have owners' closets and cabinets that are locked from guests. Other things to note Master Fireplace: Gas with a switch to turn on is on the wall to the right of the fireplace. Master Closet: A large walk-in closet is empty for your use. We have an iron and ironing board in this closet and guest robes for your use. Living Room Fireplace: Gas with a switch to turn on is on the wall to the right of the fireplace. TV Room with large comfy couch separate from the living room. The thermostat is in the hallway on the main floor. Please program to meet your temperature needs, but please be considerate of the environment. Please do not force heat above 70 degrees. WIFI/ Internet: Connect to “The F&A Guest Network” Pass Code: F&Aguest (“F” and “A” are in caps and all one word) Main Deck: Extra cushions are in the tall bin. Grill – you are welcome to use the grill, make sure the gas is turned on underneath on the tank when you use it, and please turn it off when you are finished. If the grill is cool and dry please replace the cover. Neighborhood: The home is in a friendly, quiet neighborhood. But have no fear, we are a very short distance to a great coffee shop called The Press, India Beach restaurant, Sam's Chowder House, Barbara's Fish Trap, Half Moon Bay Brewing Company, Mezza Luna and more!! The beach and Princeton harbor are just across the way along with the coastal trail so you can stroll along and catch the miles of beautiful scenery. If any modification it must be in writing prior to your stay. •No outdoor Shoes in Home – please wear slippers – we also provide brand new disposable slippers for you use. Please be careful on the hardwood stairs. Kitchen: Includes all essential utensils and cooking supplies. Please feel free to use what you find, do your best to return it to where you found it. Laundry can be found in the pantry. When you are Leaving: Please take any garbage out to the garbage can on the side of the house Please ensure the lid is closed– we have raccoons! Please start the dishwasher with all dirty dishes.
