Our country home is located at the end of a quiet road on five acres with views of rolling hills, countryside, and horses. The home was completely remodeled in 2016 with a chef's kitchen, large island seating area, spacious living room and high ceilings throughout. There's a clean, well maintained hot tub under giant Eucalyptus trees. Enjoy fast wireless Internet (300Mbps), a full range of cable TV channels on two flat screen TVs, Sonos music and access to a number of streaming video services. This property is appropriate for four guests. The five acre property is home to many beautiful trees and lots of local wildlife including owls, woodpeckers, quail, bunnies and more! The Santa Ynez Valley reminds Jodi so much of Tuscany, where she spent so much time as a girl. The guest and master bathrooms include doors to their own private meditation gardens. There is a king bed in the master bedroom and a queen bed in the guest bedroom. There is heat/AC in the home to ensure you stay comfortable on cold or exceptionally hot days. The chef's kitchen features a 6 burner gas stove, electric oven, dishwasher, insinkerator, coffee maker and toaster. We're fully stocked with lots of plates, bowls, cups, glasses, silverware, pots, pans and everything you need to make full use of the kitchen. Make use of the Weber three-burner grill with side stove in the yard outside the kitchen. Enjoy a glass of wine (or two, or three…) at night and watch for shooting stars from the tub or listen to our resident owl! Mornings are a favorite time for us at this house. Enjoy your preferred cuppa walking through the grounds, on the two-person porch swing outside of the master bedroom or take a morning stroll up the road to Solvang (30 min walk) and enjoy breakfast at its many yummy cafes! We have given careful attention to our bedrooms and our beds are Casper mattresses with down-alternative mattress pads. Italian sheets and crisp linen comforters await your arrival. Both bathrooms lead to their own private garden areas where you can sit and soak up the sun or stargaze. It is a heavenly place with wonderful energy. We really hope you enjoy it as much as we do. While we love dogs, we do not make exceptions to our no pet policy. The kitchen does not include a microwave. The fireplace is decorative only. Guests have full exclusive access to the house and property during the stay. While we're located near the end of a quiet country road, the home is just a five minute drive from Solvang and ten minutes from Los Olivos, Santa Ynez and Buellton. There are some wonderful restaurants, horse ranches and wineries a short drive from the property. We fell in love with the Santa Ynez valley when we first discovered it in 2005. We made countless pilgrimages from Los Angeles with our young daughter and stayed in a number of vacation rental homes. We were thrilled to be able to buy this home a few years ago and to fully remodel the property in 2016. We hope you find it to be as much of an escape from the madness of everyday life as we do.
