The space This studio condo is located on the second floor and is accessible with one flight of stairs. Unit #16 comfortably sleeps up to four guests with two queen beds. Newly renovated bathroom with spacious walk-in shower, glass enclosure, updated tile flooring and gorgeous counter top. Plenty of counter space and storage. Renovated kitchen with new appliances, cabinets and quartz countertop. You'll find everything you need to make complete meals. All guests have access to free on-site parking, free Wifi and free use of all amenities including beach loungers, chairs, tiki huts and BBQ grills. Guest access Guests have full access to the property's private oceanfront beach, lounge chairs, umbrellas, tiki huts, BBQ grills, heated pool, and grassy areas perfect for relaxing by the water. Sunset Park is located right next door and is a favorite spot for enjoying the beautiful Florida Keys sunsets each night. The property is conveniently located just minutes from Publix grocery store, local restaurants, and many popular activities including boating, fishing, snorkeling and exploring the Florida Keys. . Other things to note Awesome adventures await you within a few miles of our centrally located property. The Dolphin Research Center, Turtle Hospital, Aquarium Encounters and the world-famous Bahia Honda State Park are all within a short driving distance. We have the only living coral reef left in North America just offshore. Snorkeling the reef is always a guest highlight! The dive shop at Captain Hooks (5 mins from condo) operates daily snorkel and scuba trips out to Sombrero Lighthouse and Coffins Patch sanctuary. Both are easy dives for even the novice snorkeler and you will be rewarded with an amazing experience. If you would like to rent kayaks or bicycles while you are here, a local company will deliver them to the property. Kayaking around our island of Key Colony Beach is a wonderful way to enjoy the water. At low-tide we have a huge sandbar to the west (about 10-minute kayak from our condo beach) where you can beach your kayak and explore the shallows on foot. You'll spot huge starfish, spotted eagle rays, small tropical fish and lots of other surprises. We have a bike rack on the west side of the property and a kayak rack at the beach for use during your stay. Equipment drop off and pickup are provided by the local company. You can call them direct to reserve and schedule delivery. If you have interest in fishing The Marathon Lady takes two trips out to the Reef daily and provides all fishing gear. It’s very affordable and you’ll have a blast catching fish and being out on the water. The mates will clean your fish after the trip and our local restaurants will cook your catch (usually 2-3 different ways in one sitting). Of course, you can always cook at the condo or out on the beach at our propane BBQ grills.
