Bama Beach Dreams is in Surfside Shores, a neighborhood within the Fort Morgan area of Gulf Shores. Completely renovated in 2022, Bama Beach Dreams offers a spacious living/dining area, large kitchen, three bedrooms (including a main-level master bedroom), and two baths. The large fenced-in backyard is the perfect place for the family and furbabies to hang out. Private beach access is a six-minute walk from the house. Bama Beach Dreams sleeps 10. Dogs are welcome upon approval and a small fee. Highway 180 is a scenic stretch of road between Alabama’s beautiful Gulf Coast to the south, and Bon Secour Bay to the north. The highway connects downtown Gulf Shores to the tip of the peninsula at "the Fort" and Fort Morgan Ferry, which goes to Dauphin Island. The drive down Old Fort Morgan Highway is visually stunning. The road rambles through undisturbed Southern woods and past the wide waters of the Little Lagoon before opening to a dramatic northern vista where Mobile Bay meets Bon Secour Bay. Come experience the Fort Morgan lifestyle and enjoy the beach the way it was intended, where Southern charm meets a bohemian atmosphere and unforgettable vacation memories are created. Bama Beach Dreams is located in Surfside Shores, a lovely coastal community on the Fort Morgan peninsula, approximately 14 miles west of Gulf Shores on State Highway 180 (Fort Morgan Road). This beach community is near both top-rated golf courses on the island, The Peninsula and Kiva Dunes. Bama Beach Dreams has a spacious floor plan. The master king bedroom is on the main level of the home, along with the laundry room, living room, dining room, kitchen, and access to the back deck. No stairs are required to enter the home, making it easily accessible for all. One set of interior stairs leads to the two upstairs bedrooms, housing a queen bed and three sets of twin bunk beds; the bedrooms are connected by a Jack-and-Jill three-piece bath. The back deck leads to a huge fenced-in yard, which is perfect for active pups. Bama Beach Dreams can accommodate up to 10 guests comfortably, utilizing one king bed, one queen bed, and three sets of twin bunk beds. We do not offer sleeper sofas. The interior living space is 1,711 square feet. The front door is on the north side of the home. There is a lockbox by the door. Guests will be given the access code to the lockbox prior to their arrival. Upon entry into the home, guests are greeted by a bright and airy living and dining space. This open-concept layout is perfect for entertaining friends and family. The living room has two cushy sofas, perfect for getting cozy in the evening with family cosying up with family while watching a movie on the flat-screen smart television. Bama Beach Dreams does offer cable. We have black-out curtains on the sliding doors for rainy days when guests want to stay in and watch a movie. The dining room is lit by the natural light from the large sliders that run across the east side of Bama Beach Dreams. The television can also be seen from the dining room, which comes in handy on game day. The dining table seats six to eight guests. There is additional seating for dining on the back deck. Both areas are perfect for eating dinner or playing games with the family. Guests are to sign in to their own app accounts and are responsible for signing out upon departure. The kitchen is fully stocked with more than the basics; pots and pans, a drip coffee pot, a K-cup coffee maker, a tea kettle, and ample utensils. If we have not stocked an item that is needed, please let us know. Please note that the home will occasionally have coffee, sugar, creamers, salt, pepper, and olive oil. However, we do not stock these items. Guests can snag these items from Sassy Bass Market, which is within two miles of the house. The master bedroom can be found on the northwest side of the main floor of the home. It has a chest of drawers, open closet space for storing luggage, two nightstands with reading lamps, a ceiling fan, and a flat-screen smart television with cable access. The master bathroom has two entrances: one from the master bedroom and one from the living room. This three-piece bath has a walk-in shower with a glass partition, single vanity, and loo. There is a full-size washer and dryer for guests to use in the laundry room. Although we offer a starter pack of laundry detergent, guests should always supply their own detergent for extended stays. The interior stairs are located on the south side of the dining room. These stairs lead to a hallway with access to two bedrooms and a full bath. This spacious Jack-n-Jill bath has double sinks and a large shower/tub combo. It is shared between the queen guest bedroom and the bunk guest bedroom. The upstairs queen guest bedroom can be found on the southwest corner of the home. This bedroom has a queen bed, two nightstands with reading lamps, a ceiling fan, black-out curtains, a chest of drawers, and a closet for storing luggage. The bunk room is located on the northwest corner of the house. It has three sets of bunks (for a total of six twin beds), a dresser, a nightstand with a reading lamp, a ceiling fan, and a walk-in closet for storing luggage. Bama Beach Dreams has a Weber charcoal grill. Guests are responsible for bringing all of their BBQ supplies. Please pull the grill out from under the house before grilling. Our beaches are quiet and not publicly accessible. Although downtown Gulf Shores is 20 minutes away, there are plenty of places to eat and have fun on our side of the island. We have a detailed list of bars, restaurants, and grocery stores in our digital guidebook. Guests have access to the entire home except for a locked closet in the kitchen. Guests staying at Bama Beach Dreams have the opportunity to rent a golf cart through Beats Working Vacation Rentals at a preferred rate. Please message us for pricing and availability info. There are check-in and check-out instructions forthcoming. These are in the guest’s shared Airbnb messaging inbox. Guests will receive a reminder text on the morning of arrival and departure. Please respect our belongings to avoid charges. Breaking the rules will most certainly be handled through Airbnb if we cannot come to a satisfactory conclusion on our own. No one likes having to deal with a problem during a vacation, but life happens. As long as guests are upfront and honest, they will find that we are very reasonable and agreeable hosts. Welcome to the Emerald Coast of Alabama. Beats Working Vacation Rentals has homes across the entire island, from the western end of the Fort Morgan peninsula all the way to Orange Beach in the east. Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, two of Alabama’s premier beach towns, are separated by the 10 miles of lush greenery and undeveloped coastline that comprise Gulf State Park. Gulf Shores stretches westbound towards the Fort Morgan peninsula, where guests can travel to Dauphin Island via the Mobile Bay Ferry. Orange Beach, located east of Gulf Shores at the western end of Perdido Pass, features not only sugar-white sand beaches, but also a group of small islets known locally as the Orange Beach Islands. These islands are popular spots for boating, beaching, and bird-watching. Any of our guests can receive a discounted rate on a guided sailboat tour of the Islands. Please reach out to us for more information. In the meantime, guests can get a glimpse of the area from the comfort of home with our birds’ eye drone tour, located on our website. The Gulf Coast of Alabama is a sunny and picturesque beach sanctuary. This desirable area has charming architecture, as well as amazing views of our Emerald Coast, Mobile Bay, Bon Secour Bay, Little Lagoon, and the coastal waterways of the Ole River. Guests find themselves in paradise with our beach vacation homes and cottages. Our Fort Morgan properties are located primarily in the Surfside Shores neighborhood on the southwestern side of the peninsula, just minutes from two of the nation’s top-rated golf courses—The Peninsula and Kiva Dunes. In addition to the Surfside Shores neighborhood, we have homes on the Bon Secour Bay of the Fort Morgan peninsula, homes in the Waterway Village of downtown Gulf Shores, in the West Beach area of Gulf Shores, in Orange Beach, and in Foley, lovingly deemed by the locals as “Gulf Shores North.” Guests can walk to the beach using their feet. Golf cart rentals are also available. This contact information is sent upon reserving the home. Uber services our area. We are happy to recommend a local driver if guests prefer to book with someone directly. Beach Information: - Swimming in the Gulf of Mexico is much different than swimming in a pool. It is important to respect the strength of the water and to protect the marine life that lives in our area. Guests can check the surf conditions before heading to the beach. Riptides are a serious concern for the Fort Morgan Peninsula. To ensure guest safety, please pay attention to water conditions. Always check the tide and weather conditions before getting into the Gulf of Mexico. To receive a daily text with surf conditions and beach flag information, text ALBEACHES to 888-777. - Beats Working Vacation Rentals has homes near numerous nature preserves. Wildlife is in the area and the locals strive to protect the wildlife. When walking around the neighborhood, guests should be mindful of where they step. Guests could potentially see snakes, rabbits, coyotes, alligators, turtles, sharks, sting rays, jellyfish, and other creatures. Do not disturb the wildlife. Luckily, most of these guys do not like to socialize. - Do not leave beach equipment on the beach overnight. Our beaches are home to endangered sea turtles during nesting season. Beach gear is a serious hindrance to their nesting success. - On that same note, it is highly important to respect the sea turtles, especially during nesting season, which runs May through October. It is a Federal offense to disturb a sea turtle or its nest. In an effort to help this endangered species, despite what others do, do not leave beach equipment on the beach overnight and do not leave on bright floodlights. The floodlights disorient the baby sea turtles, which results in a very sad ending to their lives. If the Fish and Wildlife department can pinpoint a home's floodlight to a disturbed nest, they will charge the guests with a Federal offense. Help us care for our endangered species. - A special note for guests staying on the Fort Morgan Peninsula: If guests wish to recycle, they have to take their items to the firehouse by Sassy Bass Market. The recycling facility accepts aluminum, cardboard, and plastic – no glass. Beach Equipment: - Beats Working Vacation Rentals does not offer beach chairs, umbrellas, tents, or other beach gear at any of our beach homes. We do, however, supply beach towels, and we also provide contact information for our favorite beach equipment rental companies. These companies can supply you with all of your beach fun needs, including tents, chairs, umbrellas, and more. Please refer to your check-in message for more details. Pets: - Dogs welcome upon approval. We do not host other animals, including but not limited to, cats, pigs, rabbits, and reptiles. We have breed and weight restrictions. - Guests must provide proof of current flea and tick preventative at the time of booking. If the check-in date is more than one month beyond the booking date, then proof must be submitted again the month of check-in. - Pet fees are paid directly to Beats Working Vacation Rentals via Airbnb. Once a dog has been approved, an alteration with the additional fee will be sent for guests to accept. The pet fee can range between $75 - $300, depending upon the breed and size of your dog. - Additional charges may be incurred for remediation of pet(s) related issues, including excessive hair, strong smells, urine/feces, fleas, etc. - We understand that guests are not required to notify us if traveling with a service dog. However, to prevent confusion, we would greatly appreciate a heads up. If you are traveling with a service animal, you must show active proof of flea and tick prevention. Our goal in this request is to aid in facilitating a seamless travel experience for our guests via clear communication and honesty. Thank you in advance.
