Charming Westboro location - comfortable bedroom

Main floor bedroom with double bed, easy chair, small desk and dresser. Next to full bathroom shared with owner. One other full bathroom in home. Nearby living/dining room (pictured) to relax, and main floor kitchen for self catering. Free internet, laundry, parking. Nearby bus routes. Smoke & scent free. (Laundry detergent, toilet paper provided.) Non-smokers only. International guests, students, tourists, interns, tradesmen, and post grads have all enjoyed stays in my home. The space This is a comfortable, easy to live in space designed by architect Hilda Hein, many years ago. She chose to build her family home in Westboro because of its proximity to the river, mature trees and parks, and easy transportation. I invite guests to share our living room/dining room and not feel confined to their bedroom. Guest access This is a well maintained, middle class home built in the 70s. It is well situated and I look forward to meeting you and helping you to find your feet in Ottawa. Non-smoking, perfume free environment. Hardwood floors in bedroom and throughout main floor (with one area rug in living room;) bamboo flooring in basement. During your stay This is my home and I enjoy sharing it with others. I know Ottawa well, have travelled widely, and am committed to providing a soft landing and a launching pad for your discovery of our city. Other things to note Ottawa is an amazing place to visit and for international guests is inexpensive. There are so many sites and festivals to see or attend. Rent a car, a canoe, a paddle boat, or a hot air balloon. Take the bus, walk the riverside pathways. We've lived here our whole lives except when we have been traveling the world. Ottawa is safe and friendly.
