Description
Beautiful Mid-Century Modern on top of Sherman's legendary Cottontail Mountain. Secluded, heavily wooded, private setting, with abundant wildlife. Beautiful treetop views from the rear deck and wooded views from the front deck. Sherman's walking, running trail is right at the base of the hill. Two great parks within walking distance. If you get up early enough you may see the whitetail deer. Furnished and accessorized with a combination of original mid century classics and contemporary pieces. The space This home was designed by a notable Texas architect and built by hand by the original owner. Construction began in 1957 and continued for 10 years. The home is known locally as "The House that Cal built". It was truly a labor of love and they were well ahead of their time. I am only the second owner of this beautiful property. It has been an honor to restore and update this amazing home. I know you will enjoy it as much as I do. Guest access The carport is difficult to back out of. Other things to note I keep some of my personal possessions at the house. One locked closet in each bedroom and the downstairs storage room contain them.
