This Big Bear vacation home awaits your family and friends! The expansive multi-story cabin has soaring wood-beamed ceilings, multiple decks and views of the ski slopes! This giant house has 7 beds, a full kitchen, a sunken bar, pool table, and indoor basketball hoop. Truly a great place to assemble the family! Located less than 10 minutes from ski slopes Bear Mountain and Snow Summit, and shopping at the Village. The lakeside bike trail and grocery stores are 5 minutes away. The space The entire bottom floor of the house has installed laminate wood floors. There are two spacious living room areas connected with a small staircase. The upper living room has a wood-burning fireplace, large sectional sofa, 65” flat screen TV, 9 ft pool (billiards) table and dining table. A sunken bar area is encircled by natural live edge wood counters that span both living rooms - complete with bar stools and a bar refrigerator. The second living room has a 55” flat screen TV along with an additional dining area and couches to relax. There is high-speed WiFi and TV options through the Roku enabled TVs and Apps. Look up from here to see a 38 foot wood-beamed ceilings with unique hanging light fixtures. The kitchen is highly functional and equipped to prepare a very large meal. It features a 5 burner gas stovetop, two full size ovens, a big refrigerator, a walk-in pantry, plenty of storage and a lot of room to cook! Eat off of brand elegant Steelite dinner plates and bowls. A dishwasher, microwave, broiler, water kettle, and coffee maker are also included in your stay. A propane grill is outside for guest use. A spare propane tank is in the garage. To round out the bottom floor, there is a den off the living room that has been converted into an additional sleeping area. There are bunk beds, a new 42” flat screen TV with Roku, a Nintendo 64 (N64) gaming console, and DVD player. The exterior of the downstairs level includes a spacious balcony that wraps around the front exterior of house. A grand staircase leads to the upper level with new flooring and carpet (Fall 2019). The upper level features 3 bedrooms with a unique walk-around landing area. The master bedroom has a jetted jacuzzi tub, walk-in closets, a full ensuite bathroom with recently renovated master shower space, and a spacious bathroom with two sinks. The master bedroom has a king mattress. On the other side of the upper level there are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The first bedroom has a bunk bed and another full-sized bed with a 32” flat screen TV. The second bedroom has full-sized bed and pull out twin futon and a 32” flat screen TV. A full bathroom with a shower and tub is adjacent to these 2 bedrooms. Another massive patio / balcony is along the top level and features elevated views of the town and the ski slopes look outstanding! The patio has a full size table and chairs. As a bonus, there is a Game Nook that features vintage video games! Original Nintendo (with Super Mario Bros., and more), Sega Genesis (with Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Street Fighter 2, and more), and a Xbox 360. There is another twin futon in case you stay up all night playing vintage video games. A large garage occupies the lower level and can fit 2 guest cars inside the garage. The upper garage does not allow guest parking - because it contains an indoor basketball hoop! Central heating throughout the interior of the house with Nest thermostat and a wood burning fireplace in the living room. This is perfect home for multi-family visits or a large family due to all the sleeping and living space. The house sits on a south facing slope which gives it plenty of sunshine and great views. Sleeping Area Summary: Master Bedroom: King Bed (1 bed) Bedroom 1: Full Bed, Bunk Beds with 1 Twin + 1 Double Mattresses (3 total beds) Bedroom 2: Full Bed, Twin Futon (1 bed) Den: Bunk Beds with 1 Twin + 1 Double Mattresses (2 total beds) Guests have access to clothes washer and dryer inside the lower bathroom. The owner maintains a No Pets Policy. No Smoking. No parties are allowed. Guest access The entire house is for the guests. Guests will be sent a numeric code to access the front door electronic lock. No physical keys will be exchanged at check-in. Parking is available in the driveway and 2 cars (3 if you squeeze) will fit in the lower garage that now has an automatic door. The garage door code will be sent at check-in. 2 to 3 cars can fit in the driveway. Parking is not available in the upper garage. Parking on the driveway on White Mountain is not recommended as it is particularly steep. San Bernardino County does not allow street parking at short term rentals so cars must be parked in the garage or driveway. If needed in the winter, snow shovels and ice melt are in the lower garage. Other things to note This house has been in a short term rental program for over 12 years. Large renovation complete in the fall of 2019 as indicated in the description section. All rentals are subject to San Bernardino County Short Term Rental codes and regulations. The home cannot be used for any commercial activity.
